I started playing guitar while attending Palmetto Senior high school in Miami Florida and was influenced by many of the great players in the area. During this time I became interested in working on my own instruments to get them to play better. Over the years I have acquired and honed my skills. As my guitar playing improved I soon spent many years recording and traveling on the road with different bands. I built instruments during this time but it was not till I got away from all the traveling that I could become what I considered to be a full time luthier. Along the way I had many influences from growing up in Miami to living in New York to California. In more recent years in the early 90's a friend of mine introduced me to another luthier Sylvan Wells. He thought we might have alot in common and he was right. We soon became good friends and inspired each other in many new directions over the years. We made alot of great instruments together. Nowdays I have been busy building personalized one of a kind instruments.
